Denver Broncos safety T.J. Ward was fined $10,000 Thursday for an altercation with Kansas City Chiefs receiver Jeremy Maclin during Kansas City's lopsided win on Sunday, according to Troy Renck of The Denver Post.
Broncos’ T.J. Ward fined for hit on Jeremy Maclin
Ward launched a blow to Maclin’s head, then threw a punch at him.

It was the third fine in two weeks for Ward, who was dinged for $17,363 for a helmet-to-helmet hit on T.Y. Hilton last weekend. He also received a uniform-violation fine for having his jersey untucked.
Ward was trying to run down Charcandrick West on an 80-yard touchdown run when Maclin cut him off. As West crossed the goal line, Ward launched into Maclin, hitting him in the head, then swung at him as both fell to the ground. He was given a 15-yard penalty and ejected.

“I got emotional,” Ward said. “I didn’t really punch him. I don’t even think that I punched him, if you see it, but it looked like a windup. You can take it how it is.”
Ward said he was angered by “dirty” play from the Kansas City offense.
“It was their team as a whole,” Ward said. “They were a pretty dirty team: the O-linemen, receivers and tight ends. They were doing it last game, and they continued to do it this game. It took an effect on me.”
Maclin responded on Twitter:
I'm cheap and dirty but you got ejected....oh ok makes sense
