Chicago Bears wide receiver Alshon Jeffery won't be available for the team's Week 11 game against the Denver Broncos. Jeffery is sitting out after picking up yet another injury.
Alshon Jeffery won’t play in Week 11 vs. Broncos
Groin and shoulder injuries will keep Alshon Jeffery out on Sunday against the Broncos.

Jeffery has been battling a groin injury for a couple weeks now. He played through it in Week 10 but was clearly limited, playing just 35 of 65 offensive snaps against the St. Louis Rams. This week, Jeffery was limited on Wednesday before sitting out Thursday and Friday, ultimately getting the questionable tag on the injury report due to groin problems and a shoulder injury. He'll try to get healthy in time for a crucial Thanksgiving showdown with the Green Bay Packers.
Jeffery has struggled to stay healthy this season, missing four games with a calf injury and rarely, if ever, being 100 percent. When he has been healthy enough to play, he’s delivered elite production, averaging 7.2 catches and 103 yards in the five games he’s appeared in.
The 4-5 Bears are on a surprising little run after starting the season 0-3, but Sunday's game is a big test to see if they are cut out to be contenders this year. A win would put them squarely in the Wild Card picture heading into the Packers game this Thursday. To pull that off, though, they will need someone in the receiver corps to step up with Jeffery out -- a tall task with Aqib Talib and Chris Harris Jr. manning the Broncos' cornerback spots.
