Sheldon Richardson inactive with hamstring injury in Week 11
A hamstring issue will sideline Sheldon Richardson for at least one game.

Richardson is dealing with a hamstring injury and didn’t practice at all this week. Despite getting the questionable tag on the injury report, Richardson was a long shot to play this week with no practice time.
A first-round pick out of the University of Missouri in 2013, Richardson made an immediate impact on New York’s line and was named Defensive Rookie of the Year. In 2014, he racked up eight sacks and further established himself as one of the league’s premier interior pass rushers.
Unfortunately, off-field issues have plagued Richardson’s third season. He served a four-game ban for violating the substance abuse policy and was arrested earlier this summer for traffic violations and resisting arrest. With the case still pending, Richardson could potentially face further punishment from the league. Richardson has been his usual dominant self when playing this season, getting 2.5 sacks and a forced fumble in five games.
