Experts are nearly unanimous in picking the Patriots to beat the Bills on Monday.
Tom Brady and the Patriots play host to the AFC East rival Bills on Monday night, and if the last game was any indication, you should get ready for plenty of touchdowns. Bill Belichick's team bested Rex Ryan's team in Week 2 this season, though the Bills did manage to put the pressure on at times.
New England left that game with a 40-32 win in hostile territory, and they look in even better shape at home.
The Bills were coming off a huge Week 1 over the Indianapolis Colts and Ryan, as usual, had a lot to say about Belichick. The Bills were going to take the fight to the Patriots and they were going to make the AFC East an interesting division. Well ... they didn't get away with a win, but the AFC East is interesting, though that has more to do with the Bills vs. New York Jets rivalry than it does the Patriots.
New England will, in all likelihood, win the division, but if the Bills want to have any chance of stopping them, they have to split the season series at the very least. That's going to be a tall order, as the Patriots have been dominant this year. They have only been in danger of losing a game once this season -- in their last outing -- but in the end they pulled out the win over the New York Giants.
As far as experts are concerned, you won’t find many who think the Bills have a chance to halt the Patriots’ winning streak. All eight experts picking with CBS Sports are going with the Patriots, while 12 of the 13 experts with ESPN think they will win, as well.
