The New England Patriots look unstoppable, once again, though last week they came as close as they have been all year to losing a game. Tom Brady and the Patriots lost a lead to the New York Giants in the final two minutes of the game, but Brady drove them downfield and Stephen Gostkowski did what he always does in kicking a game-winning field goal.
Bills vs. Patriots 2015 live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch online
The Patriots will host the Bills for their second game this season on Monday Night Football.
New England survived 27-26, and we should have another exciting game on our hands when they play the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football.
That’s because the first time these teams met this year, it was exciting. The Patriots won, of course, but the Bills kept it close and put up enough of a fight to make a rematch promising. But the Patriots took down the Bills in Buffalo, and if it’s possible, they look even better now than they did in Week 2.
Brady had a huge game against the Bills last time. He completed 38 of a ridiculous 59 pass attempts for 466 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions. He was sacked twice, and the Patriots ran for just 56 total yards on the ground. He had a great game, and he got a lot of help from his defense.
Tyrod Taylor played well in his second start, with 242 yards and three touchdowns of his own, but he also tossed three interceptions. Taylor was sacked eight times for a loss of 53 yards. If the Patriots can put up the kind of pressure they did in that game, then they'll be in good position to come out with a win.
Taylor has had a good season with the Bills thus far. He’s completed 70.5 percent of his passes for 1,436 yards with 11 touchdowns and four interceptions. He’s nowhere near Brady’s level, as Brady completed 67.8 percent of his passes for 3,043 yards with 24 touchdowns and three interceptions. Taylor did miss some time due to an injury, though.
The Patriots rank fourth in the league in total offense, and first in the league in points per game. The Bills, on the other hand, rank all the way down at 25th in total defense. That hasn't stopped them from scoring points though, and they score 25.7 points per game, good for sixth in the league. The Pittsburgh Steelers average 33.7 points per game.
On the other side of the ball, things are much closer. In total defense, the Patriots rank 14th in the league, and Ryan’s team is right behind them, at No. 15. The big split is in points allowed, as the Patriots allow just 18.8 points per game, while the Bills allow 23.0 points per game. They are separated by 10 spots on the stat sheet.
This one could have a lot of scoring, either way. New England's last game went down to the last second, and the Giants nearly got a win. Malcolm Butler continued his strong play on the season by knocking away a potential touchdown pass headed for Odell Beckham Jr.
