Chicago Bears running back Matt Forte played against the Green Bay Packers on Thursday. Forte sprained his MCL and has missed Chicago's last three games. He was listed as questionable on the official injury report going into Thursday's game with a knee injury.
Matt Forte active for Bears vs. Packers
Forte started Thursday’s game against the Packers.

Forte said prior to Thursday that he could have played if the Bears really needed him to against the Denver Broncos, but that he was held out for one more week to be safe. He has been participating in practice.
The eight-year veteran was having a very productive season before going down with the MCL injury. He has 136 carries for 548 yards and two touchdowns on the year, and has caught 25 passes for another 219 yards and a touchdown.
Forte has eclipsed 1,000 rushing yards in five of his eight seasons, including his last three years. He was well on his way to such a total before the injury derailed his season. He'll take over for rookie Jeremy Langford, who has 78 carries for 250 yards and five touchdowns on the year. Langford seems to be the back of the future, but Forte was running too well before getting injured and will be a valuable weapon for Jay Cutler against the rival Packers on Thursday.
