Kansas City Chiefs running back Charcandrick West will sit out for the team's Week 12 game against the Buffalo Bills, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Spencer Ware will get the start in Ware's place.
Charcandrick West won’t play, Spencer Ware will start for Chiefs in Week 12
West didn’t practice at all this week and will sit out with a hamstring injury.

West suffered a hamstring injury in last week's win over the San Diego Chargers. The injury was severe enough that he did not practice at all this week. Despite being listed as questionable, West was never expected to play Sunday. He will aim for a return against the Oakland Raiders next week.
Before the injury, West had done an admirable job filling in for Jamaal Charles, who is out for the year with a torn ACL. In 10 appearances this season, West rushed 98 times for 373 yards and three touchdowns, adding 14 catches for 199 yards and an additional touchdown.
Ware replaced West in the third quarter last week and had a fine game, piling up 101 total yards against the San Diego Chargers. He'll have a much tougher matchup against the Bills' 10th-ranked rush defense. The Chiefs are running out of healthy bodies at running back -- Knile Davis is the only other running back left on the depth chart.
