Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie left New York's game against Washington on Sunday with an ankle injury that he suffered without contact. The Giants cornerback left the game with assistance from trainers and was announced as questionable to return, but came back in the second quarter.
Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie returns from ankle injury
Rodgers-Cromartie suffered an ankle injury, but it isn’t believed to be too serious.

Rodgers-Cromartie, 29, leads the team in interceptions with three in addition to recording six passes defended and two forced fumbles. While any non-contact leg injury is typically bad news, the Giants trainers taped the ankle up and it appears it’s not too serious of a problem.
The 2008 first-round pick played three seasons with the Arizona Cardinals before brief stints with the Philadelphia Eagles and Denver Broncos. Prior to the 2014 season, Rodgers-Cromartie signed a five-year, $35 million deal with the Giants. He has started in 25 of 26 possible games since joining the team.
Opposite Prince Amukamara, the Giants have Jayron Hosley, who filled in for Rodgers-Cromartie during his departure from the game.
