Dolphins vs. Bills 2015 picks and predictions: Buffalo slight favorites over Miami

Dan Campbell and Rex Ryan will both have to fire their teams back up for a divisional matchup.

This week is the big test for Dan Campbell and the Miami Dolphins. After winning his first two games in charge, the Dolphins were blown out 36-7 by the New England Patriots last Thursday night.

On Sunday, Campbell will have to fire up his team as it travels to upstate New York to take on the Buffalo Bills. The Bills have lost two straight, giving up 65 points to Cincinnati and Jacksonville, so they will also be getting "encouraging" words from Rex Ryan.

Against the Bengals, the Bills were lit up by Andy Dalton -- something that has happened to a lot of teams this season -- but the Jaguars game was self-inflicted misery. EJ Manuel threw two interceptions and lost a fumble while LeSean McCoy also lost a fumble. Two of the turnovers were returned for touchdowns, helping Jacksonville score 21 points in less than two minutes.

Buffalo expects to get Tyrod Taylor back from a knee injury against the Dolphins, which should restore the offense that struggled under Manuel. Karlos Williams is also probable after recovering from a concussion, putting he, McCoy and Taylor on the field for a rare time. The Bills' running game is already ranked 10th in the league despite the injuries and suspensions, so they will be a real threat this weekend.

With Ndamukong Suh adjusting to his new teammates, the Dolphins have developed a strong run defense since Campbell took over, so they should be a good matchup for Buffalo's three runners. Taylor will test the 22nd-ranked pass defense, but again, there were rapid signs of improvement before they ran into Tom Brady.

This is a tough game to pick, but five of eight CBS selectors think home-field advantage will be enough for the Bills. At SB Nation, the experts are split the same way, going 5-3 for Buffalo.
