Teddy Bridgewater took a nasty hit in Sunday's game between the Minnesota Vikings and St. Louis Rams and left the game with a concussion. Bridgewater was sliding and giving himself up on the play, but he still took a big hit to the head and was down on the ground for some time. He was initially motionless and appeared to have his eyes closed for a time, but he was eventually helped to his feet by the training staff.

The Vikings announced that Bridgewater was undergoing a concussion evaluation shortly after the play. He was then ruled out for the remainder of the game with a concussion.
On Monday, head coach Mike Zimmer, who called out the Rams for the hit, said that Bridgewater passed his first concussion test and should be ready for the team’s game next Sunday against the Oakland Raiders.

— Minnesota Vikings (@Vikings) November 9, 2015 Lamarcus Joyner, the Rams player who hit Bridgewater, could be facing a fine this week. However, he will not be suspended, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Bridgewater was having a good game, completing 13 of 21 passes for 144 yards with an additional 17 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown. He did have one interception, though. At the time he left the game with an injury, the Vikings held a three-point lead over the Rams and they would go on to win in overtime, 21-18.
Backup quarterback Shaun Hill entered the game for Bridgewater. He last played significant time with the Rams last season, completing 63.3 percent of his passes for 1,657 yards, eight touchdowns and seven interceptions in nine games played. In relief of Bridgewater, he completed 2 of 6 passes for 15 yards.
