It's been a tough season for the Baltimore Ravens. They lost quarterback Joe Flacco for the season when he tore his ACL and MCL in Week 11 against the St. Louis Rams. Running back Justin Forsett was placed on season-ending IR after breaking his arm in the same game. The Ravens are still technically in the playoff hunt, but with a 4-8 record and eight teams ahead of them in line in a close race for an AFC Wild Card spot, it's not looking good for John Harbaugh's team.
Seahawks vs. Ravens 2015 picks and predictions: Seattle is the unanimous choice
The Baltimore Ravens are having an unlucky season and have a 4-8 record to show for it. The Seattle Seahawks are the easy favorite to win in Baltimore in Week 14.
The Seattle Seahawks got the 2015 season off to a rocky start, but they have bounced back, winning five of their last six games, including a 38-7 rout of the Minnesota Vikings in Week 13. The 7-5 Seahawks currently hold the last wild card spot in the NFC, and their hot streak couldn't come at a better time, with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers just behind them at 6-6 and also playing well down the stretch.
Seattle's offense seems to have hit its stride, with quarterback Russell Wilson throwing for 879 yards, 11 touchdowns and zero interceptions in his last three games. Wilson's chemistry with wide receiver Doug Baldwin in particular has been notable. Baldwin has 299 receiving yards and five touchdowns in those three games.
The Ravens, despite a lot of bad luck this season, haven’t lost a game by a margin greater than eight points. They’ve managed to keep things close throughout the season, and there’s always a chance they pull this off against the Seahawks at home.
The experts don’t think they will, however. The guys at both CBS Sports and ESPN unanimously picked the Seahawks over the Ravens. Our SB Nation panel is also of one accord, with everyone picking the Seahawks to win.
