The Denver Broncos have stumbled here and there, but at 10-2 they have a chance to secure the top seed in the AFC if they continue to win. On Sunday, they will face the rival Oakland Raiders, a team they have already beaten once this season.
NFL picks and predictions, Raiders vs. Broncos 2015: Experts think Denver will win 4th straight
The Broncos have won three consecutive games and experts think they’ll win their fourth on Sunday.
Denver narrowly beat Oakland the first time these two teams played. Peyton Manning threw for 266 yards with no touchdowns and a pair of interceptions, while Derek Carr had 249 yards, a touchdown and an interception. Chris Harris returned that Carr interception for a 74-yard touchdown to put the game out of reach.
But Manning is expected to sit out another game due to a torn plantar fascia, and unlike the first game, Brock Osweiler will be in charge for the Broncos. Osweiler hasn't played amazing football by any means, but combined with Denver's excellent defense, Osweiler has done enough to have the Broncos on a three-game winning streak.
That streak includes a huge win over the New England Patriots in Week 12 and a game against the San Diego Chargers in their last game. Osweiler threw for just 166 yards against the Chargers and the Broncos offense didn't do much, but the defense held the Chargers to a single field goal.
Oakland has lost four of its last five games and they are on the outside looking in as far as the playoffs go. With this game against the Broncos, a tough game against the Green Bay Packers coming up and two other divisional games left after that, the Raiders need a win now, not later.
But the Raiders have little chance of leaving Week 14 with a win, at least according to experts around the Internet. Over at ESPN, just two of the 13 experts think the Raiders will get a win, while the folks at CBS Sports and all of the experts here at SB Nation think the Broncos will win it.
