The New England Patriots will try to rebound from a two-game losing streak when they take on the Houston Texans at NRG Stadium on Sunday Night Football, which will be aired at its usual channel on NBC and streamed online here.
‘Sunday Night Football’ 2015 live stream: How to watch Patriots vs. Texans online
The Patriots are trying to get back on track, while the Texans need a win to stay in the playoff hunt.

After a 10-0 start that had many people thinking about a perfect season, the Patriots’ undefeated start came to a crashing halt against the Denver Broncos in Week 12. They followed that up with a shocking home loss to the Philadelphia Eagles and dropped to the No. 3 seed in the AFC playoff picture.
New England is also dealing with multiple key injuries on offense. Julian Edelman is missing another week with his foot injury, while Rob Gronkowski is questionable for this week’s game. Gronkowski did travel with the team, so they will likely wait until close to kickoff before announcing whether he’s active. Danny Amendola is also questionable, but he’s expected to play.
The Texans are 6-6 after a deflating loss to the Buffalo Bills last week. The defense in particular was disappointing, giving up 30 points after allowing an average of just 8.8 in the previous four games. The biggest gaffe ended up deciding the game -- the defense seemingly forgot to cover Bills tight end Charles Clay, who walked in for a 40-yard touchdown.
To compound matters, superstar J.J. Watt broke his hand in practice this week. He’s expected to play, but it remains to be seen how the hand will affect his performance. Watt is once again emerging as a Defensive Player of the Year candidate, racking up 13.5 sacks in 12 games.
On offense, Brian Hoyer has been playing well recently, partly thanks to breakout star receiver DeAndre Hopkins. In his third season, Hopkins has been lighting up the league with 86 catches, 1,169 yards and 10 touchdowns. Hoyer will need to keep feeding targets to Hopkins if the Texans hope to hand New England its third straight loss.
