The NFL doesn’t have a quarterback crisis

Seriously, it’s not as bad as it seems. Danny Kelly and RVB discuss the issue on the podcast this week.

Just how bad are NFL quarterbacks right now? One look at some of the matchups this week, and you might think things are terrible, that there’s a real shortage of quarterbacks plaguing the NFL. You would be wrong.

On this week’s podcast, Danny Kelly and RVB discuss the league’s quarterback situation and find that it’s really not as bad as it seems. Where you really get into problems is with the backups. There’s just not enough NFL-level talent there; see Cassel, Matt. And too many teams have been forced to turn to their backups this year.

Speaking of quarterbacks, Browns coach Mike Pettine had some comments about Russell Wilson’s eliteness ahead of this week’s game in Seattle. We discussed that too.

That Browns-Seahawks game is a real turd in a weekend full of them. Did you know that there is only one game on the schedule this week that features two teams with a winning record? It’s true. Denver at Pittsburgh. We previewed that game and more!

SPECIAL BONUS: Stick around for the end of the show when we learn the news about the Rams expected to keep Jeff Fisher and GM Les Snead around for 2016.

You can listen above, or you can subscribe to our podcast on iTunes, if that's your sort of thing.
