The Philadelphia Eagles looked dead in the water just a couple weeks ago, but an unexpected hot streak has them back in the thick of the NFC East race. They’ll look to keep their momentum going against the Arizona Cardinals, who can clinch a first-round bye with a win. These teams will square off on Sunday Night Football, which can be streamed online here.

Philadelphia looks to keep pace in the NFC East against a Cardinals team trying to clinch a first-round bye for the playoffs.
Philadelphia was 4-7 after a humiliating loss to the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving, and many people were ready to write their season off. However, the Eagles rebounded with a shocking win over the New England Patriots and a hard-fought victory against the Buffalo Bills. They’re all but out of the wild card race, but the division title is still up for grabs. The Eagles’ last two games are against Washington and the New York Giants, meaning that the NFC East winner may not be decided until Week 17.
The Cardinals keep right on rolling, winning seven games in a row and clinching a playoff spot with last Thursday’s win over the Minnesota Vikings. They had a potential problem when running back Chris Johnson suffered a broken tibia, ending his comeback season early. However, rookie David Johnson stepped up as the new workhorse back, recording 123 total yards on 24 touches against the Vikings. With Carson Palmer firmly in the MVP discussion, the Cardinals haven’t missed a beat without Chris Johnson. Their offense leads the league with 417.5 yards per game, and they rank second with 31.2 points a game. Arizona is looking like one of the few NFC teams that could give the Carolina Panthers a real challenge in the playoffs.
