Minnesota Vikings safety Harrison Smith is active and will play against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. Smith is dealing with a minor knee sprain that had him limited at practice leading up to the game. He was officially listed a questionable on Friday’s injury report.
Harrison Smith back in lineup vs. Seahawks in Week 13
The Vikings managed without Harrison Smith in Week 12, but have the playmaking safety back in the lineup against the Seahawks.

Smith really came into his own in his third season in 2014, with many considering him a Pro Bowl snub. This year, he’s played in all but one game and has 54 total tackles, one sack, one forced fumble and one interception. He’s among the best safeties in the league.
Fortunately, the Vikings managed without him when they played the Atlanta Falcons in their last game, Minnesota won that game, 20-10, and sit at 8-3 on the season. They are in first place in the NFC North, and need their best players like Smith to step up their game down the stretch. The Vikings have a tough remaining schedule, with the Seahawks, Arizona Cardinals and Green Bay Packers still on the schedule.
Smith had 93 tackles, three sacks, a forced fumble and five interceptions in 2014. In his four-year career, the 2012 first rounder has 309 tackles, five sacks, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and 11 interceptions.
