Jon Bon Jovi remains interested in purchasing an NFL team, and he's keeping a close eye on the Tennessee Titans as a team he might pursue, according to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports. While the Titans aren't for sale, there is plenty of speculation that the team could be soon and Bon Jovi is working to position himself to make the purchase, even if many doubt he can afford it.
Bon Jovi denies that he’s eyeing purchase of Titans
The Titans aren’t for sale, but one report said Jon Bon Jovi could be interested in making the purchase if the Adams family chooses to put the team on the market.

Days later, however, Bon Jovi refuted the report:
Rumors of my interest in the TN Titans are nothing more than that. I am not part of any group perusing a team that is not for sale. -JBJ
— Bon Jovi (@BonJovi) December 8, 2015 The 53-year-old rock star attempted to purchase the Buffalo Bills in 2014 as the face of a group that also featured the backing of Canadian businessman, but the group lost out to Terry Pegula. That may have been for the best, considering the pushback that Bon Jovi received from Bills fans for his attempt to make the acquisition.
The Adams family has denied that the team will be on the market. Still, the instability of the franchise since the death of Bud Adams has many convinced that it’s only a matter of time before the Titans are on the market, and other candidates are also expected to be interested.
According to La Canfora, Steelers minority owner Barry Tepper, FedEx founder Fred Smith and the Frists, a wealthy Nashville family, are three other potential buyers. Even Peyton Manning could attempt to become a minority owner after his retirement.
Bon Jovi was previously the owner of the Philadelphia Soul of the Arena Football League from when the team was first founded in 2004 until 2008.
