Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy left a Week 13 game to go to the locker room to be evaluated for a concussion in the third quarter, the team announced. He was cleared to return in the fourth quarter.
LeSean McCoy leaves game vs. Texans with head injury
McCoy jogged to the locker room under his own power to be evaluated for a concussion, but was cleared to return.

Prior to the injury, McCoy had 83 rushing yards against the Houston Texans on just 14 carries as the Bills looked to establish the run early and often. While it's hard to determine the exact play that McCoy was injured, he talked with team trainers on the sideline before jogging to the locker room under his own power. According to ESPN's Mike Rodak, McCoy pulled himself out of the game due to concussion-like symptoms.
The Bills are already without Karlos Williams, who is dealing with a shoulder injury, so the only other options after McCoy are Mike Gillislee and Boobie Dixon.
McCoy missed some time early in the season while dealing with a hamstring injury. In the first nine games of the season for the Bills, McCoy tallied 680 rushing yards with three touchdowns and another 249 receiving yards with two touchdown grabs. He was acquired by the Bills in the offseason from the Philadelphia Eagles via trade.
