Darrelle Revis said he would "love to" by back with the New England Patriots to attempt to repeat as champions after winning his first career Super Bowl on Sunday, according to Mike Petraglia of WEEI.

Revis has a $20 million option on his contract for another year with the Patriots, but would likely have to renegotiate with the team to return in 2015.

Revis is due a $20 million option for next season, which means the Patriots will almost certainly ask the six-time Pro Bowl cornerback to negotiate a more team-friendly deal if they hope to keep Revis around. If they don't, the rest of the AFC East could be lurking and ready to give Revis big money as both the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills have reported interest.
Neither the Jets nor the Bills will be better positioned than the Patriots to make a run at a Super Bowl next year, though, which could be a high priority for Revis now that he's tasted victory on the biggest stage. Revis told Petraglia that he will spend the next month laughing, crying and cheering about the victory over the Seattle Seahawks:
“This is why I came to New England, to win a Super Bowl,” Revis said. “It feels great. It’€™s surreal, man. We worked so hard. We did. Since April,” Revis said. “Since I sat down with Mr. [Robert] Kraft and Bill [Belichick], this was the reason, to be a part of this - this legacy we did tonight. That’€™s the Super Bowl, be a part of something great. I’€™m happy that they had their arms open for me, especially coming from New York and I’€™m here. It’€™s been an awesome ride.”
Revis has been one of the highest-paid players in the NFL for most of his career and signed a one-year deal with the Patriots worth $12 million, although it came with an "option year" in 2015 worth $20 million. He previously signed a four-year, $46 million contract with the Jets in 2010 and a six-year, $96 million deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2013.
