He was arrested on Thu., March 5, and the investigation into the alleged incident has been handed over to the district attorney's office, according to Matt Maiocco of CSN Bay Area.

San Francisco 49ers fullback Bruce Miller was arrested on a spousal battery charge on March 5. The 49ers are aware of the arrest and are “collecting all relevant information.”


The 49ers are aware of the arrest, which only came to light on Monday, and released a statement, via Maiocco: “The San Francisco 49ers organization is aware of the matter involving Bruce Miller. We were disappointed to learn of these reports and will do our due diligence in collecting all relevant information.”
Miller is San Francisco’s starting fullback and was signed to a three-year contract extension last season, keeping him with the organization through the 2017 season. There are not many details of the alleged incident that led to the arrest other than the fact that the investigation has been forwarded to the district attorney’s office.
