The Baltimore Ravnes have drafted Central Florida Knights wide receiver Breshad Perriman with the 26th overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. Perriman turned plenty of heads within the league after recording an unfathomably fast 4.24 40-yard dash at his pro day in March. The 40 time would have been tied for the best combine time ever, with former Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson.
NFL Draft picks 2015: Breshad Perriman taken by Ravens at No. 26
The speedster out of Central Florida will try to follow in his father’s footsteps as a productive NFL receiver with the Ravens.

Perriman, who skipped drills at the NFL Combine in February because of a hamstring injury, absolutely tore up his Central Florida pro day and raised his stock considerably. During his three-year tenure with the Knights, Perriman was solid throughout. After freshman and sophomore years where Perriman combined for more than 1,000 yards and seven touchdowns, Perriman took off in his junior campaign with 1,044 yards and nine touchdowns on 50 catches.
At 6'3 and 214 pounds, Perriman has ideal size and incredible speed for his frame. The main concern with Perriman is his penchant for dropping the ball. Still, Perriman is a talented prospect who has great bloodlines. His father, Brett, is a former star with the New Orleans Saints and Detroit Lions, serving as Herman Moore's running mate. Brett played for 10 seasons and had consecutive 1,000-yard campaigns in 1995 and 1996 with Detroit before retiring after the 1997 season.
Perriman will join the Ravens to fill the void left on the outside by the departed Torrey Smith. The Ravens' 2014 receiving leader is now with the San Francisco 49ers, and Joe Flacco needs a new deep threat. He may have already got it during the first round.
