NFL Draft 2015 live stream: How to watch the first round online
The NFL Draft is just about here, and here’s how you can watch the first round online on Thursday.
The first round of the 2015 NFL Draft is just a few hours away, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers hold the first overall pick. The first round of the draft begins at 8 p.m. ET on Thursday, with rounds two and three coming on Friday and rounds four through seven coming on Saturday.
The three-day format seems to work for the league so they’re sticking with it, though there are some changes this year. The biggest chance is that the draft isn’t being held at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, a big change given that the last nine drafts have been held there. It’s also the first time the draft has been held outside of New York City since 1963.
As noted above, the Buccaneers will pick first given they had the worst record in the NFL a season ago. The pick is widely believed to be going to a quarterback, such as Jameis Winston or Marcus Mariota. The Tennessee Titans pick second and could also be interested in a quarterback. It will be interesting to see if one of those two makes it past them, and what happens with the next two picks and potential trade scenarios, given that neither the Jacksonville Jaguars or the Oakland Raiders need a quarterback.
Television coverage of the first round will be carried by both ESPN and the NFL Network. But if you can’t be around your TV to watch, NFL.com has you covered. As usual, they’ll be offering a full livestream of the draft with every pick, plus a ton of expert analysis. Each year, they do a combination of coverage with a separate panel of experts for the live stream and a simulcast of what’s playing on the NFL Network, and that’s the plan this year as well.
Fans can tune in to the live stream at the same time -- 8 p.m. -- and will be able to watch the full first round there.
