Are you ready for some football? Sure, it’s only April (and maybe you’ve still got snow on your lawn) but real live NFL games are just around the corner.

The league released the 2015 preseason schedule on Thursday, so we now can officially begin the countdown until the first game on Aug. 9. That's when the Minnesota Vikings and Pittsburgh Steelers will face off in the annual Hall of Fame game in Canton, Ohio. The rest of the teams kick off their preseason slates a few days later on Aug. 13.

Even if exhibition football isn't your cup of tea, it's still a good sign because it means that regular season games aren't too far away and we can start dreaming about how our favorite team is going to win the Super Bowl.
