NFL Draft results 2015: More quarterbacks finally go in 3rd round

The third round and the second day of the NFL Draft came to a close on Friday, and we finally have more than a pair of quarterbacks off the board.

The third round of the 2015 NFL Draft has concluded, meaning we've got four rounds and one day left to go. The second and third rounds went by much quickly than the first, and there were also plenty of trades being made in both rounds. Although we didn't see as many trades as we expected in the first round, teams were making deals throughout both of Friday's rounds.

It took more than a full round, but another quarterback finally went late on Friday. The New Orleans Saints wound up taking Garrett Grayson with the No. 75 overall pick, making him the third quarterback off the board -- after Jameis Winston was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Marcus Mariota was selected by the Tennessee Titans with the first and second overall picks. The fourth quarterback taken was Sean Mannion of Oregon State, who went to the St. Louis Rams at No. 89 overall.

Tight end is another position that finally saw some action in the third round, with guys like Clive Walford of Miami and Tyler Kroft of Rutgers finding new homes -- Walford in Oakland and Kroft in Cincinnati. Both tight ends were ranked highly overall but the position hasn’t seen a ton of movement thus far.

There were some other big-name players who found themselves taken in the third round. The San Francisco 49ers landed pass rusher Eli Harold with the No. 79 overall pick, when many had him graded out as a first-round talent. The Houston Texans nabbed wide receiver Jaelen Strong, while the Atlanta Falcons kept the strong running back draft rolling by taking Tevin Coleman of Indiana at No. 73.
