Patriots players are NOT happy about the NFL’s DeflateGate punishment

Patriots players took to Twitter to vent about the NFL’s decision to suspend Tom Brady and punish the Pats over DeflateGate.

The NFL handed down its DeflateGate verdict -- a four-game suspension for quarterback Tom Brady, and a $1 million fine and loss of first- AND fourth-round draft picks for the New England Patriots. Brady’s teammates are absolutely furious about the decision. They expressed their outrage through emojis and profanity on the Twitter.

Chandler Jones appeared to be the first to react with a simple, yet effective, grumpy face emoji.

That opened up the floodgates.

But what about players on other teams? So far, they’re not sticking up for the Patriots much at all.

One of the few non-Patriots to stick up for Brady was Cleveland Browns safety Donte Whitner.

Meanwhile, Darnell Dockett seems to be angling for a job in New England.

Giants punter Steve Weatherford also disagreed with the punishment. He’s excited for the Jimmy Garoppolo show, however.

Finally, Tony Allen, Memphis Grizzlies guard and defensive succubus, took time out from preparations for tonight’s Game 4 against the Warriors to give his reaction in song.
