This is probably not what the league had in mind when it concocted its plan to thrust professional football in your face for a full 12 months. It’s just the fallout.

It’s the offseason, which means it’s scandal season in the NFL. Fortunately, we’re here to help you sort through the wave of crap so you only have to read the essentials about deflated footballs.
It might ultimately prove Mark Cuban right -- people will get sick of the NFL -- but not because of garbage like three-hour primetime specials about the schedule release or Titans games on Thursday nights. Hell, I love football, but right now, I wish it would go away until August.
U MAD BRO: We haven’t heard from Tom Brady yet, but his agent weighed in on Monday afternoon, confirming that his client would appeal the four-game suspension. Patriots owner Robert Kraft also fired a shot across the bow of his best friend Roger Goodell’s yacht in an official statement Monday evening.
REACTIONS: Patriots players were understandably upset ... and they voiced that via social media. The wife of Jets owner Woody Johnson was pleased with the news, and she shared her opinion on social media too, in emoji. Patriots fans aren’t very happy with it either.
