After another impressive year carving up Big Ten defenses, Michigan State running back Jeremy Langford has been rewarded by hearing his name called by the Chicago Bears with the No. 106 overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft.
NFL Draft picks 2015: Jeremy Langford goes to Bears
The Chicago Bears landed running back Jeremy Langford in the fourth round.

After spending his first two years bouncing from running back to cornerback to wide receiver and back, he broke out as a junior, rushing for 1,422 yards and 19 touchdowns. He followed that up with a 1,522/22 line as a senior, entrenching himself towards the top of a deep running back draft class.
There’s no doubt that Langford, who averaged a rush of at least 15 yards every 13.3 carries as a senior, has the burst and breakaway speed to play at the next level. He turned heads at the NFL combine, posting the best 40 time of any running back in Indy (4.42).
The big question mark for Langford is his ability to pick up tough yards between the tackles. Most of his highlight rushes for the Spartans occurred when he turned the edge, while very little of his tape shows an ability to shrug off defenders and gain tough yards up the middle. Unless he can prove that perception to be untrue, Langford risks being pegged as a change-of-pace back in the NFL.
