Jake Ryan, the gritty linebacker that led Michigan with 112 tackles and landed on the All-Big Ten Team last season, has been picked by the Green Bay Packers with the No. 129 overall pick of the 2015 NFL Draft.
NFL Draft results 2015: Jake Ryan taken by Packers
The Green Bay Packers took Jake Ryan in the fourth round of the NFL Draft.

Ryan began his career in Ann Arbor as an outside backer, leading the team in tackles and sacks from that spot as a sophomore. A tackling machine with outstanding quickness and the ability to fire to the ballcarrier, he was moved to the middle as a senior to prevent teams from running the ball to the opposite side. At 6’2, 240 lbs, Ryan has the size and athletic ability to play either inside or outside at the next level.
What he lacks in straight-line speed and elite instincts he makes up for in preparation -- Ryan has a well-deserved reputation as a hard worker who puts in long hours in the film and weight rooms. After tearing his ACL the winter before his junior year, he rehabbed himself back onto the field in just six months.
