With the No. 113 overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, the Detroit Lions have selected defensive tackle Gabe Wright of Auburn.
NFL Draft picks 2015: Gabe Wright taken by Lions after trade
Gabe Wright goes to the Lions in the fourth round following a trade up.

Wright had a productive career at Auburn, playing in all 52 games during his four years with the school. He finished his college career with 86 total tackles (44 solo), 20.5 tackles for loss and six sacks. He also had a forced fumble and two pass deflections.
Wright should be able to start or contribute early on in his rookie season. He has a lot of initial burst and is great at fighting off double team blocks. He occasionally gets lost during extended plays, which is something he’ll need to be coached on at the next level.
He is plenty athletic, as he showcased at the NFL Scouting Combine in February. Wright wasn’t a top performer, but he turned in solid times in most drills. He ran the 40-yard dash in 5.07 seconds, the 3-cone drill in 7.73 seconds and the 20-yard shuttle in 4.56 seconds.
In addition, he managed a vertical leap of 26.5 inches and a broad jump of 100 inches. However, his best showing came in the bench press, in which he put up 34 reps of 225 pounds.
