Green Bay Packers defensive tackle Letroy Guion has been suspended three games due to an offseason arrest, according to Rob Demovsky of ESPN. Guion was arrested in early February and charged with two felonies. One charge was a third-degree felony for possession of a firearm, and the other was for possession of marijuana.
Packers DT Letroy Guion reportedly suspended 3 games for firearm and drug arrest, plans to appeal
Letroy Guion was reportedly suspended for three games following a February arrest.

The league does not officially announce suspensions until the appeal process has played out, according to the report. Guion and his legal team plan on appealing the suspension immediately. Guion found out about the suspension this week.
Guion wound up paying a $5,000 fine in a plea deal to avoid prosecution for his arrest, but both Guion and the Packers knew a suspension was likely coming before the start of the regular season. The NFL does have pretty clear evidence that Guion did actually have the things he was arrested for, as you can see in this image below:

— Jason Wilde (@jasonjwilde) February 4, 2015 The Packers re-signed Guion to a one-year deal worth $2.75 million in March shortly after Guion agreed to pay the fine as part of his plea deal. Guion played in all 16 games for the Packers in 2014, putting up 32 tackles, 3.5 sacks and a forced fumble. He's set to be a starter at one of the end spots this season, but with this suspension he's set to miss crucial outings against the rival Chicago Bears in Week 1, the Seattle Seahawks in Week 2 and the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 3.
