Kam Chancellor’s agent said the star safety’s holdout isn’t going to end any time soon, according to ESPN’s Josina Anderson.
Kam Chancellor’s agent implies holdout could continue into regular season
ESPN reports no progress has made in talks between the Seahawks and their hard-hitting safety.

Chancellor, 27, was previously playing under a four-year extension he had signed in 2013. Since then, he has cemented himself as one of the best strong safeties in the league, and has watched a number of his teammates receive lucrative extensions over the last year.
“Nothing has changed. He will not report without his contract being addressed this season,” Chancellor’s agent, Alvin Keels, said to Anderson. “The team and I have been in contact, but we haven’t been able to agree on any compromise.”
Chancellor could be the first cap casualty in Seattle, which has re-signed Earl Thomas, Richard Sherman, Marshawn Lynch, Russell Wilson and Bobby Wagner since last spring.
Seattle defensive end Michael Bennett has also said he wants a new contract, but decided to report to camp anyway. Chancellor is taking the more strong-armed approach, but it hasn't paid off thus far.
