The Jacksonville Jaguars parted ways with the team's longest-tenured player on Monday morning, trading kicker Josh Scobee to the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to Jeff Prosser of 1010XL. In exchange, the Jaguars will get a late-round draft pick, according to Adam Schefter.
Jaguars trade kicker Josh Scobee to the Steelers, per report
The Jaguars sent 12-year veteran kicker Josh Scobee to the Steelers on Monday morning.

Scobee, 33, was a fifth-round pick of the Jaguars in the 2004 NFL Draft and is the franchise’s all-time leading scorer with 1,022 points. The team franchise tagged Scobee in 2012 before signing a four-year deal to stay with the team shortly thereafter.
The Steelers were left with few options at kicker after losing Shaun Suisham to a torn ACL in the Hall of Fame Game and Garrett Hartley to a hamstring injury. Scobee will join the Steelers with one year left on the four-year deal he signed with the Jaguars, and will be due $3.425 million in 2015.
The contract is likely the reason why the Jaguars elected to part with Scobee in a trade instead of Jason Myers, a first-year player who made four of five field goal attempts in the preseason, including a successful try from 55 yards against the New York Giants. Myers has a three-year, $1.575 million deal with the Jaguars.
Pittsburgh already traded a conditional fifth-round pick to the Philadelphia Eagles for cornerback Brandon Boykin earlier in the offseason.
