It's Week 1 of the 2015 NFL season and this time of year you can have a wide variety of weather impacting many of the games across the country. The wettest part of the country Sunday will be across the Great Lakes and the Northeast. Home games for the Jets, the Bills and even Washington have a chance of a few showers and for D.C. some windy weather. This is part of a system that is working through the region dragging with it a cold front. This same weather system will bring showers and possible storms to Tampa.
NFL weather forecast, Week 1: Wide variety of weather to kick off the season
Week 1 for the NFL will see some games cool and damp while others will be blazing hot, but most will be just right to kick off 2015 NFL season.

The other weather story will be the heat across the central plains and Colorado. The hottest game of the weekend will be in Denver with game temperatures in the 90s. The rest of the games this weekend look quiet and quite nice with clear to sunny weather.
