The Oakland Raiders fear starting safety Nate Allen could be done for the year with a torn ACL, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Raiders fear starting safety Nate Allen has torn ACL, per report
Nate Allen may be done for the year with a torn ACL after just one game with the Raiders.

Allen, 27, signed a four-year, $23 million deal with the Raiders in the offseason after five seasons as a starter for the Philadelphia Eagles. He missed just six games in those five years after he was taken in the second round of the 2010 NFL Draft, but now could be done for the 2015 season after leaving early in his first game with the Raiders.
Things could be especially tough for the Raiders if safety Charles Woodson misses significant time, too, after suffering a shoulder injury in Week 1. Woodson will undergo an MRI on his shoulder on Monday to determine the damage suffered, according to Schefter.
Woodson, 38, started all 32 games for the Raiders in the last two seasons after returning to the Raiders following a seven-year run with the Green Bay Packers, which included Defensive Player of the Year honors in 2009.
If both Allen and Woodson are out of the lineup, the two safeties next in line on the depth chart for the Raiders are Larry Asante and Keenan Lambert. Asante has prior playing experience with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Indianapolis Colts, and even started two games for the Raiders last year.
Lambert is an undrafted rookie from Norfolk State claimed by the Raiders off waivers last week after he was cut by the Seattle Seahawks.
