The Green Bay Packers rolled to a 2-0 start with elite play from Aaron Rodgers and experts believe he'll keep that going and help the team to a 3-0 start in a Week 3 game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Chiefs vs. Packers 2015 picks and predictions: Experts picking Green Bay to roll to 3-0
The Packers offense has been unstoppable in 2015 and experts think they’ll keep the momentum going against the Chiefs in Week 3.
If the Chiefs are going to have a shot at pulling the upset at Lambeau Field, the team will have to do a much better job at avoiding turnovers. In a Week 2 game against the Denver Broncos, the Chiefs had five turnovers, including a Jamaal Charles fumble in the final minute of the game that was returned for a go-ahead touchdown.
Instead, Kansas City will likely need to flip the script and force some turnovers against a Green Bay offense that leads the NFL in points through two weeks. Rodgers hasn’t yet thrown an interception in 2015 and has completed 76.8 percent of his passes with five touchdowns.
The Packers have been susceptible against the run, though. Opposing backs have averaged 5.3 yards per carry and that could be problematic against the NFL’s all-time leader in yards per carry, Charles, who already has 4.9 yards per carry in 2015.
Over at CBS Sports, experts are unanimously picking the Packers to win. The same was true for ESPN’s entire 13-man panel in addition to the picks made in the ESPN Pick ‘Em game.
SB Nation’s team is siding with Green Bay, too, although Stephen White is the one going against the grain and taking the Chiefs to travel to Lambeau Field and earn an upset victory. The OddsShark computer disagrees with him, though, and projects a win for the Packers.
