Players will be fighting for a chance to earn a final roster spot among their teams as the Minnesota Vikings head to Nashville to take on the Tennessee Titans for the last preseason game.

Titans backup quarterback Zach Mettenberger will get one more chance to prove he deserves a chance to start.

The Titans likely won't play rookie quarterback Marcus Mariota, but with such few game day reps, it would probably benefit the young player to get in for at least a drive or two. With Mariota on the sideline, that leaves Zach Mettenberger under center, who was fighting for the starting spot ahead of this year's draft.
Early projections have the the Titans finishing second-to-last in the league this season, and if the defense doesn’t start making tackles, this sad prediction could come true. This is the final test for the defense to show who should land the starting spots and who can stay healthy throughout the season.
The Vikings just got rid of their No. 4 quarterback, Mike Kafka. Kafka was released after an injury during Week 3's game against the Dallas Cowboys. Luckily for the Vikings, they are putting all their effort behind starter Teddy Bridgewater Despite some inconsistencies in the preseason, he showed growth with 29 passes for 295 yards, a touchdown and no interceptions.
The Vikings’ wideouts struggled to hold on to the ball during the first weeks in the preseason, and they will utilize any playing time they get against the Titans to solidify their depth chart position. Charles Johnson and Mike Wallace will be players to watch in this matchup as they’ve each earned some snaps with the first-team offense.
