Andy Reid has traditionally left his starters on the sidelines during the final preseason, not wanting to risk injuries while giving himself as much time as possible to see the guys he might have to cut in the next few days. That same should be expected when the Chiefs visit the Rams Thursday night.
Chiefs vs. Rams 2015 live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch online
The Chiefs face the Rams for the Missouri version of the Governor’s Cup.

One Chief who needs to make a big impression is third-string quarterback Aaron Murray. Kansas City is considered a prime landing spot for Robert Griffin III if his time in Washington ends, so Murray is going to have to show that he's capable of either keeping a roster spot in Kansas City or produce enough to get a shot somewhere else.
While the Rams haven't exactly had a stellar preseason, they are favored to win the Governor's Cup simply because Jeff Fisher is so concerned about his team's chemistry (especially on the offensive line) that's he planning on playing at least some starters.
That could turn out to be important. With the rumors swirling about the Rams moving back to Los Angeles, this could be the last edition of the Governor’s Cup.
The big position battle to watch for the Rams will be the competition between Austin Davis and Sean Mannion for the third quarterback spot behind Nick Foles and Case Keenum. Look for them to share most of the reps on Thursday, with Foles getting the day off and Keenum playing a limited amount.
