Throughout the first six years of his career, Rob Gronkowski has been rewriting the NFL history books. He set another record Saturday in the New England Patriots' Divisional round victory over the Kansas City Chiefs, catching his eighth career postseason touchdown, surpassing the previous mark of seven shared by Vernon Davis and Dave Casper.

He’s caught a touchdown in four straight playoff games.

With 8:29 remaining in the third quarter, Tom Brady found Gronkowski in the corner of the end zone for the record-setting score. It was Brady's 17th career playoff game with at least two passing touchdowns, which extends his NFL record as well.
The Brady and Gronk connection was at full strength Saturday, combining for seven completions, 83 yards and two touchdowns. It was the most catches Gronkowski has recorded in a game since Oct. 25

— NFL (@NFLIive) January 16, 2016 For much of the week, Gronkowski’s status for Saturday’s matchup was in question. He missed two practices in three days and reportedly received an injection in his bruised right knee Thursday at a Boston hospital. The Patriots officially listed him on the injury list with a back injury, the genesis of which was unknown.
But within minutes of the Patriots’ opening drive, it was clear Gronkowski was ready to play. He caught two passes in the series, including his first touchdown grab.

That is one of the Patriots' biggest advantages as they prepare to play in their fifth consecutive AFC Championship.
