NFL audible names are often funny and random. Sometimes, they’re so weird that even the players on the field get caught off guard:
Cam Newton’s ‘EVEN JANITOR’ audible makes teammate ask ‘is that real?’
POSSIBLE CUSTODIAN ON THREE. SEEEEEEEEEEET HIKE

Cam Newton yelled out EVEN JANITOR (or... evil gem-eater?) leading someone -- it sounds like left guard Andrew Norwell -- to ask “is that real?” Cam replies with a quiet “yes.”
I don’t know what the Panthers’ signals mean -- if I did, they wouldn’t be very good signals. But if I had to guess, the E or J are probably triggers for something in the offense, and the actual content of the words is meaningless. When the lineman asks “is that real,” he’s probably asking “is that actually the audible you want us to run or a fake signal meant to throw off the defense” and not “LOL, WE HAVE AN AUDIBLE CALLED EVEN JANITOR?!?!?!?!” But it is certainly possible that Newton is out there confusing the heck out of all his teammates by yelling whatever words come into his head.
