Broncos vs. Buccaneers 2016 picks and predictions: Experts heavily favor Denver

It’s no surprise that experts feel the Broncos will best the Buccaneers on Sunday, though there are a handful who think Tampa Bay can win it.

Denver Broncos fans weren't totally sold on Trevor Siemian as the quarterback of the future, and it's understandable with rookie Paxton Lynch waiting in the wings. But after an impressive four-touchdown performance in Week 3, Siemian is riding high.

On Sunday, he'll get another chance at success against a Tampa Bay Buccaneers team that has been spotty at best this season.

The Buccaneers are 1-2 to start their season, dominating the Atlanta Falcons in Week 1 before getting blown out by the Arizona Cardinals in Week 2 and losing a narrow one to the Los Angeles Rams in Week 3. They were expected to beat the Rams, a struggling team with a weak offense, but they allowed a massive 37 points.

That's the one stat Siemian will be paying attention to when he goes into Sunday's matchup. The Broncos, the defending Super Bowl champions, are heavily favored when it comes to the betting lines. But what about the experts picking around the Internet?

Over at CBS Sports, seven of the eight experts picking think the Broncos will win, leaving just one picking Tampa Bay. There were none who thought the Buccaneers could come out on top over at ESPN though, with all nine of their experts sticking with Denver.

Here at SB Nation, it’s a similar spread:

Only one person, plus the OddsShark computer, at SB Nation think the Buccaneers can escape with the win. The game on Sunday will begin at 4:05 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on television via CBS. An online subscription to Sunday Ticket is the only way to stream the game online.
