Rams vs. Cardinals 2016 live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch online

Can the Cardinals get back to .500 by beating the rival Rams on Sunday?

Four teams started out with a losing record through three games and managed to make it to the postseason last year. The Arizona Cardinals, sitting at 1-2 on the season, will need to keep that in mind when they play host to the NFC West rival Los Angeles Rams on Sunday.

The two teams will meet on Sunday afternoon at the U of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arz. The game will begin at 4:25 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on FOX, with a live stream available online at FOX Sports GO if the game is being served up to your local market.

Los Angeles is, shockingly, in first place in the division though nobody really expects that to hold. They were blown out by the rival San Francisco 49ers in Week 1, failing to put up a single point while the 49ers managed to score 28 of their own. Then they beat the Seahawks in a 9-3 war of attrition, and prevailed over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a high-scoring affair that saw them score 37 points.

It’s been a weird season so far.

Arizona’s struggles center around quarterback Carson Palmer, who has experienced a nice career resurgence with the team but is not looking nearly as good this year as he has in seasons past. Palmer has completed 67 of 117 passes for 862 yards, a completion percentage of just 57.3. He has thrown five touchdowns and four interceptions in three games.

Palmer has been much better at protecting the football and much more efficient in recent seasons. The Cardinals hope Palmer can be their franchise quarterback for seasons to come, but at his age, when he struggles, the question has to be asked: is he finally reaching his point of decline?

It’s certainly possible. But the Rams may offer a good opportunity for Palmer to bounce back. The Cardinals have tough games against the Seahawks and Carolina Panthers on the horizon, so they need to get back to their winning ways sooner rather than later.

Despite a very low-scoring game against the Seahawks, the Rams still rank 18th in the league in total defense, and 13th in the league in points allowed per game. Meanwhile, Arizona’s offense ranks 15th in the NFL.

Case Keenum is still the starter for the Rams, who rank dead last in the league in total offense. The Cardinals have 1,108 total yards on offense, while the Rams have just 788 yards themselves. With Keenum under center the Rams have thrown for fewer yards than any other team except the Buffalo Bills.

Neither offense has performed up to expectations, and whichever one can hit its stride in Sunday’s game will likely be the one that walks away the winner.

Below is all you need to know to watch the Week 4 game.
