The New York Giants are trying to keep up in an NFC East that is quickly being taken over by rookie quarterbacks. The Minnesota Vikings are undefeated in the NFC North, one of the more competitive divisions in the league, despite injuries to both Teddy Bridgewater and Adrian Peterson.
Giants vs. Vikings 2016: Game time, live TV schedule and team news for ‘Monday Night Football’
Can Eli Manning recover from a poor performance in Week 3 or will the Minnesota defense be too much for him?

They will clash under the bright lights of Monday Night Football in Week 4, and it should be a good one. The game will kick off on ESPN and online via WatchESPN at 8:30 p.m. ET. To watch online, you will need to provide login credentials from a cable or satellite provider.
In the best situation, the Vikings were expected to compete with the Green Bay Packers in a hotly contested division this season. They are hardly in the best situation with all of their injuries. A team can’t trade a first-round pick for Sam Bradford in a panic situation and be considered stable, after all.
But that’s exactly what the Vikings did, and while it hasn’t always been pretty, they are 3-0 to start the season and have a shot at building on their division lead when they host the Giants on Monday.
A stout defense has served the Vikings well thus far, as they have not allowed a team to put up more than 16 points this season. The Tennessee Titans managed 16, the Packers 14 and most recently, the Vikings beat the Carolina Panthers by a score of 22-10.
Minnesota also has what looks like a relatively forgiving schedule with a Week 16 rematch against the Packers being the most imposing game remaining, especially with teams like the Arizona Cardinals struggling. They can afford to lose games and their defense will likely carry them into the playoffs.
New York is playing in a division where Carson Wentz and Dak Prescott are both playing exceptionally well. The Eagles have been searching for a steady quarterback for years, the Cowboys have had their own issues thanks to injuries to Tony Romo, and Washington’s Robert Griffin III trade certainly didn’t work out. Eli Manning, for all his faults, has been the best quarterback in the division since he entered the league.
Manning has completed 71 percent of his passes for 925 yards with four touchdowns and three interceptions this season. Two of those interceptions (and one touchdown) came in a Week 3 loss to Washington, another rival that almost seems like an afterthought but is certainly in the running for the division going forward.
The Giants don’t have a great defense, and they need Manning to not turn the ball over multiple times if they’re going to win. Minnesota has a strong, opportunistic defense and it will exploit the Giants’ turnovers as well as any other team in the league.
