While Washington and the Cincinnati Bengals were playing in London Sunday, word leaked out about contests that will take place across the pound next year. Unsurprisingly, it's a matchup that leaves a lot to be desired.
Dolphins will ‘host’ the Saints next season in another bad London matchup
The Dolphins have to give up a home game to play in London, because they’ve been selected to host a Super Bowl.

The Miami Dolphins will "host" the New Orleans Saints in London next season, marking the fourth time they've played in the U.K. Per a league resolution, any team that makes a successful bid to host a Super Bowl must also sacrifice a home game to play in London within five years. Miami will hold the Super Bowl in 2020.
The Dolphins haven't created many fond memories in London. They're 1-2 in Wembley Stadium and were embarrassed last time they played there in 2014. Their performance against the New York Jets was so bad in 2015, that it cost head coach Joe Philbin his job just four weeks into the season.
The Saints, meanwhile, have only taken their act to London once. They defeated the San Diego Chargers in 2008.
Given the NFL’s track record of shipping lousy teams across the Atlantic, it makes sense that the sub-.500 Dolphins and Saints will be there next season. The combined record of clubs that played in the three London this year was 19-23. There has been no announcement on how many games will take place in the U.K. next year.
