Rob Gronkowski admitted Wednesday that his hamstring has “obviously” been holding him back. That followed a report Tuesday from NFL Network’s Mike Garofolo that the Patriots’ all-world tight end and hero to visor-clad bros everywhere that The Gronk’s hamstring injury has not healed quite like they thought it would.

His hamstring issue goes back to training camp. He missed all of the preseason and the first two games of the year, before making his debut in Week 3 against the Texans.

Productivity has eluded Gronk, sorry, The Gronk, in those first two games he played. He’s been targeted a total of three times and has just one catch and 11 yards. A lingering hamstring injury and the Patriots’ backup quarterback injuries don’t help either.

Those are very un-Gronk like numbers, and fans aren’t being bashful about letting him know.

The man can’t even load up on Monster Energy Drink and Gogurt without hearing about his production! But chillax, bros. The Gronk was optimistic in his assessment of his hamstring injury on Wednesday. He told Tom Pelissero, “hopefully, this week it’s go time.

His hamstring may or not be getting better; you never know when it comes to the Patriots’ injury reports. However, Tom Brady returns and the Patriots are taking on the Browns who are giving up an average of 81 yards per game to tight ends.
