Bears vs. Colts 2016 live stream: Start time, TV schedule, and how to watch online

The start of the season isn’t going how either the Colts or Bears planned. One of them will be even worse off after Sunday.

The Chicago Bears and Indianapolis Colts were both expected to compete in their divisions this season, but both have started out with 1-3 records. Chicago is well behind the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC North, though they earned a win over the rival Detroit Lions in their last outing. The Colts have lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars, one of their rivals, though the AFC South is the notably weaker division.

On Sunday, the two teams will face off, with kickoff set for just after 1 p.m. ET. The game will be broadcast on television via Fox, with a live stream online via Fox Sports Go. The stream will require being in the broadcast market for the game, as well as login credentials for a television or satellite provider.

Andrew Luck struggled last season, and injuries limited him to just a handful of games. It was seen as a missed opportunity for the Colts, a team that was supposed to take the next step and become one of the NFL’s elite. This year, Luck is on his game, looking about as good as he ever has in the NFL ... it’s just the rest of the team that’s not quite playing up to par.

For one, Luck’s offensive line has not been playing well. He’s been sacked 15 times this season, and has been hit 30 times total. He’s already banged up and won’t be 100 percent again over the course of a grueling season.

Frank Gore is a dependable veteran running back who continues to move up the all-time yardage list, but he’s well past his prime, and Luck can’t count on consistent 100-plus-yard rushing games from him or any other back on the roster.

Defensively is where the Colts are really a mess, though. The Colts rank 23rd in the league in total defense, allowing 1,531 yards in their games thus far. They’re even worse when it comes to points allowed, allowing 31.3 points per game, putting them at No. 30 in the entire NFL.

The Bears aren’t exactly one of the league’s top teams at this stage, but they rank higher than the Colts on that side of the ball. They are 19th in the league in points allowed, and 10th in the league in yards allowed per game.

Despite Luck’s strong play for the Colts, the lack of help around him has them ranked 17th in the league in total offense, which is a few spots above the Bears at No. 24. But when it comes to scoring, things get ugly for Chicago. The Colts rank seventh in the league in points scored per game at 27, while the Bears are tied with the Tennessee Titans for worst in the NFL at 15.5 points scored per game.

The Bears are coming off their first win of the season though, a 17-14 win over the Lions. Unfortunately, they lost receiver Kevin White to injury. Quarterback Jay Cutler is still hurt with a thumb injury, meaning Brian Hoyer is likely to start again at quarterback.
