The Titans and Packers are in a fight to see who can screw up the most

Tennessee failed on its surprise onside kick attempt, but everything turned out OK!

The Tennessee Titans’ first play of their matchup with the Green Bay Packers was a failed onside kick.

Their second was a 75-yard touchdown.

DeMarco Murray burst through a hole along the left side of his offensive line, then ran 75 yards untouched to give the Titans a 7-0 lead early in their showdown with the Packers.

Tennessee capitalized where the Packers couldn’t. Green Bay started the game at the Titans’ 49-yard line after Ryan Succop’s surprise onside kick rolled 4 yards too far and into the Packers’ hands. Aaron Rodgers couldn’t capitalize, however, and a three-and-out punted the ball back into Tennessee’s possession. An offsides penalty moved the ball to the Titan 25, and then Murray did the rest.
