The Dallas Cowboys’ cure for an early deficit is simple: more Ezekiel Elliott.
The Cowboys sprung Ezekiel Elliott on a screen, and he outran all the Steelers for an 83-yard TD
Don’t give Zeke any room, or he’ll make you pay.

Facing second-and-18 and a 12-3 deficit in Pittsburgh, Dak Prescott dropped back in the pocket, looked to his right, and hit Elliott with a screen pass. Eighty-three yards later, the rookie tailback was diving and pirouetting his way into the end zone.
That’s the longest play from scrimmage the Cowboys have had since 2012.
Elliott’s touchdown cut the Steelers’ lead to 12-10 at the end of the first quarter.
