The Dolphins overcame a three-point fourth quarter deficit to come back and stun the Chargers at home -- with a little help from Philip Rivers.
2 late interceptions, including a pick-6, lifted the Dolphins over the Chargers
Philip Rivers threw four picks in a forgettable performance.

The veteran quarterback threw a pair interceptions in the game’s final 73 seconds, including a pick-six to Kiko Alonso that stood as the game’s deciding points.
Rivers’ mistakes couldn’t have come at a worse time. San Diego took a 24-21 lead with 4:04 remaining in the game before Ryan Tannehill rallied the Dolphins for a game tying field goal. That put the ball back in the veteran’s hands with just under three minutes to play, and Rivers used the opportunity to poke holes in the Miami defense.
Melvin Gordon gained 33 yards in three plays to put San Diego on the brink of field goal range with just over a minute to play. As win probability charts began to swell to San Diego’s side, disaster struck. Rivers’s first-and-10 pass was intercepted by Alonso, who took the turnover 60 yards to the end zone to give Miami the lead.
The pick-six was the first of Alonso’s career.
Two plays later, Rivers was intercepted again, this time by Tony Lippett. It was Rivers’ fourth turnover of the game -- and the one that sealed the Chargers’ fate.
