Week 10 is in the books, and the NFL is one week closer to figuring out who will advance to the playoffs. Even though it is November, things are starting to heat up in the NFL.

The New England Patriots are still the team to beat in the AFC East at 7-2. Even though they lost a heartbreaking game on Sunday Night Football against the Seattle Seahawks, they are still the favorites to win the division and have a two-game lead over the Miami Dolphins.

New England currently has the same record as the Kansas City Chiefs and Oakland Raiders, but the Patriots hold the first seed in the AFC because they have a better conference record.

The Chiefs are first in a competitive AFC West because they beat Raiders in a head-to-head matchup earlier this season. The Chiefs are also holders of the second seed in the AFC while the Raiders are a wild card team right now. Don’t forget about the Denver Broncos, either. They’re sitting at 7-3 and are the second wild card team in the AFC.

The Baltimore Ravens are just 5-4, but lead the AFC North and boast perfect 3-0 division record. However, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals, even with a loss on Monday Night Football to the New York Giants, are still in the mix to capture the division. Baltimore does not have a lot of room for error. Lastly, the Houston Texans are still atop of the AFC South, but the Tennessee Titans aren’t going away, trailing by just 1.5 games.

The Dallas Cowboys are the class of the NFC. At 8-1, they are the lone one-loss team in the NFL and have a healthy lead atop the conference. They are also two games ahead in the NFC East.

The Detroit Lions are now atop of the NFC North, even after a bye week. They started off the season on a bad note, but they have been resurgent over the last few weeks. And the Minnesota Vikings, who started off 5-0, are on a four-game losing streak. Minnesota and Detroit have the same record, but the Lions hold the tiebreaker because they defeated the Vikings once this year. This division is still up in the air.

The Atlanta Falcons are atop the NFC South by 1.5 games. In the NFC West, the Seahawks are leading by two games as well.
