Case Keenum was the Los Angeles Rams starting quarterback on Monday. Head coach Jeff Fisher told the world that would be the case after their thrilling 9-6 win over the Jets, the first game since Oct. 2 that Keenum didn’t throw an interception.
Los Angeles Rams made Case Keenum mad with the surprise QB switch
The whole team was caught off guard by the move to Goff. And one person in particular is not happy about it.

On Tuesday, Jared Goff was the starter. Keenum was surprised and not very happy with the sudden change of direction.
“I wasn’t happy,” he said Wednesday. “I guess it was going to happen at some point, but in my mind, it was my team. That’s the way I viewed it. It was my offense, and I took ownership of it.”
Imagine that. One day you had your coach’s assurances; the next day you were on the bench. This is nothing new for Fisher. The same thing happened last year when they replaced Nick Foles with Keenum. Ditto Austin Davis and Shaun Hill in 2014.
The rest of the team was just as surprised by the move.
Hey, Keenum should be happy he’s not getting the Vince Young treatment from Fisher.
WHAT ABOUT ROMO? Tony Romo could be your team’s next quarterback. Romo wants to keep playing, but his future might not be with the Cowboys.
ZEKE FOR MVP: Ezekiel Elliott overtakes Tom Brady as 2016 NFL MVP favorite. The Cowboys rookie is making a strong case for his candidacy.
BIG BEN IS MAD AT THE MEDIA: Ben Roethlisberger criticized the NFL Network. Prior to the Steelers' Week 10 game against the Dallas Cowboys, it was reported by the NFL Network that Roethlisberger and Mike Tomlin had a special heart-to-heart meeting. Turns out, this wasn’t quite accurate.
CHICAGO'S NEXT COACH: John Fox is likely done in Chicago. Here are a few candidates for his replacement. If the Bears continue to flounder, there are a number of quality contenders who can step into a potential coaching void.
BRETT LIKES ELI: Brett Favre on Eli Manning: "I’d take him any day of the week." The Hall of Famer lauded the Giants QB.
MAYBE SIEMIAN IS THE PROBLEM: Trevor Siemian could be why the offensive line is struggling. There are ups and downs, but here are a few things Siemian must get corrected over the bye week. If he can do that, the Denver Broncos could get really good, really fast.
ALDON SMITH IS READY: On eve of potential reinstatement, Aldon Smith posts "Greatest comeback ever" video. It’s been a long year for Smith. But if his optimism is to be believed, it won’t be more than a full year that he will be kept away from the NFL and his Raiders teammates.
RODGERS DEFENDS HIS COACH: Aaron Rodgers calls Mike McCarthy criticism "ridiculous." The Packers' 4-5 record this season and 9-12 record in their last 21 games has led to increasing criticism of the work being done by head coach Mike McCarthy, who took some time this week to remind the masses that he's a "highly successful NFL coach."
